Select Choir

Select Choir is a club that creates an environment where all students find a beautiful way to express their talent and work at developing their voice. This club meets twice a week. 

Select Choir puts on two main performances  (Christmas Show and Spring Arts Show) as well as sing once a month at St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish.

Select Middle School Choir - Grades 5 - 8

• Auditions - in school - date TBA
• Members must be able to commit to additional Tuesday after school (2:40 PM - 4:00 PM) rehearsals weekly, October - May. Extended Care fees apply (as with all after school clubs)
• Required dress for concerts:
  • Black dress shirt or blouse 
  • Black dress slacks or knee length skirt  - no jeans or leggings - a black knee length dress also acceptable.
  • No color embellishments on any clothing
  • Black dress shoes (no high heels, sneakers or sandals)
  • Neutral or black hosiery for girls, black socks for boys
• Select Choir t-shirt will be provided by the school for some concert(s). Members will also need jeans (no rips, no leggings/jeggings) and sneakers.

  • Black dress slacks or knee length skirt  - no jeans or leggings 
  • No color embellishments on any clothing
  • Black dress shoes (no high heels, sneakers or sandals)
  • Neutral or black hosiery for girls, black socks for boys
• No fee for participation, as all rehearsals are during the school day. However  members will need to purchase a Select Choir t-shirt, which will be used for some concert(s).Members will also need jeans (no rips, no leggings/jeggings) and sneakers.
