Reminders & Announcements
School Safety
Last week we will reviewed emergency safety procedures with students, including active shooter preparedness. We also had an unannounced fire drill conducted by the NB Fire Department on Thursday. In the coming week we will "practice shelter in place" or "hide" withinclassrooms, as part of our training to run - hide- fight. Should you have questions or concerns, please contact Mrs. Massoud
For safety, we ask the assistance of parents and visitors to ASCS :

During school hours,enter through the front door of the main building only. Please be patient as we need to be sure of each visitor's identity before releasing the door lock.

For Extended Care - before and after school - please use the door nearest to the gated playground, and again, be patient as we check the monitor to identify.
-
Reinforce at home what we expect at school - listening and following directions - in an emergency, this could save lives!
Chowder & Tuna Sandwich Dinner
Friday, March 9 - hosted by the families of Grade 8. Pick up or dine in! Flier attached. Pre-sale orders are due by Monday, March 5.
ASCS Funny 4 Fund$ Comedy Night!

Pennies for Patients (Leukemia & Lymphoma Society)
Each year, ASCS students donate coins to benefit this cause.The class donating the most $ per student is treated to a pasta and salad lunch from Olive Garden. Our campaign runs from March 5 - 23.
Registration and Re-enrollment for 2018 - 2019

Siblings, as students attending ASCS for the first time, will need a new registration form. Please contact Mrs.Camara.

The annual registration fee ($200) has be posted for all current Pre K - Grade 7 families . Registration fees not paid by March 15th (note date change) will incur a $25 late fee.

Registration fees have been removed for non-returning families who notified Mrs. Massoud by February 15 . As of February 15, the registration fee/charge became non-refundable /non-reversible.

Registration for new students has begun. Please share your enthusiasm and support for our school by encouraging family and friends to become part of our school family! See the information about our referral rebate program!

New students entering grade K - 8 who are in need of financial aid may apply for FACE (Foundation for the Advancement of Catholic Education). Complete an on-line application at online.factsmgt.com/aid. The ID # for ASCS is 33589. Contact Mrs. Camara for assistance.

FACE applications for returning students needed to be started by the March 1 deadline. If you have not done so, please apply ASAP. Late applications may not be considered in the first round of funding.
