Income Eligibility Forms

Attached below and provided in your green folder this Tuesday please complete the Income Eligibility Form. This information is necessary for us to secure grants and funding such as Title I, Title IIA, E-Rate, and the free breakfast & lunch program.  We need every family to complete this form, filling out all of section # 1 and check income info, even if your income exceeds the stated levels.  You do not have to provide your family name.

 

Arsenic & Old Lace - Performing Arts Opportunity

Bishop Stang High School Drama Club is looking for a few younger students for the cast of their production of Arsenic & Old Lace.  Please see attached for details.

 

Mark your calendar!

At the request of the Parent Group, Hallowed Halls has been moved to Friday, October 18, 6 - 8 pm!  Get your costume ready!  

We have some changes and new opportunities - all part of the positive growth of our school and the parishes surrounding us.  Please note that our Christmas Concert will now be experienced as two separate celebrations to better accommodate our younger students, the families of our older students, and the schedules of both our staff and the Catholic Community of New Bedford North, which now has a full Sunday schedule of activities using both school and parish buildings.  Please mark your calendars and plan on joining us in joyous celebration as we honor the Reason for the Season, the Birth of Our Lord!

A Helpful Resource

Some of our students are challenged by ADD or ADHD. A growing number are challenged by anxiety.  Recently we became aware of a great online resource for both parents and teachers - particularly for ADD/ADHD - https://www.additudemag.com/ . They also provide a free weekly newsletter.   While some school accommodations can only be made for students with a diagnosis, there are wonderful tips which will benefit any student who is struggling!  Check it out! 

 

ASCS Clubs

All club meeting dates are listed in the school calendar – see link above. Your student's clubs are listed on Parentsweb along with classes. T-shirt orders will be made by September 20 – students joining clubs after that day cannot be guaranteed a club shirt.
