Pre K3
Open the Preschool Door by Christopher Santoro. - available on Amazon
After reading the book with your child, ask your child to create a picture themselves, showing how they feel about starting preschool. Students will share the story with their class during the first week of school.

Kindergarten (Click for details)
Reading with your child is so important! Please see the link above for suggested titles. During the first week of school each student will be asked to bring in their favorite book along with a picture they have created of their favorite part of the story. Students will share the story with their class.

ASCS will not require IXL this summer, however we do encourage students to continue to use IXL at their 2022-23 grade level to keep math skills sharp. We encourage parents to engage with their student in playing math based games, or perhaps invest in a math practice book for the student's grade level for those "rainy" days!
